📋 Position Summary:

 
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure needed to collect, process, and store large volumes of data. The goal is to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for various projects within the organization.
 
The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in data pipeline development, data integration, database and data warehouse management, performance optimization, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in relational and NoSQL databases, programming, and cloud technologies.
 
 

🛠 Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development (ETL/ELT): Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Data Integration: Implement and manage data integration processes between different systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
• Database & Data Warehouse Management: Manage and optimize relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Performance Optimization & Scalability: Identify and implement strategies to optimize data processing performance and ensure system scalability to handle growing data volumes.
• Data Quality, Governance & Security: Implement and enforce data quality standards, data governance policies, and security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Big Data & Cloud Technologies: Utilize and manage big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and storage.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a data-related field (Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer).

Knowledge & Skills:
 

• Expert-level knowledge of relational database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Basic knowledge of data processing languages (Python, SQL, Scala, Java).
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Experience with Data Warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Workflow Orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect, Luigi).
